Lewis Falls Trail is a very nice 3.3 mile hike plus you will be rewarded
with an 81 foot falls.  Park in a small area just a stones throw south of
the Byrd Visitor Center on the west side of the road.  This hike is poorly marked.  You will begin on a gravel road.  About a half mile down this road we turned right onto the AT section, thus leaving the falls for the end.

My son-in-law and I did this short hike and found it to be very satisfying. We made this
hike just after doing the Dark Hollow Trail with the family.  Both highly recommended.
